The on-site class is for beginners who wish to explore into rich visual arts world. The course focuses on:
1. developing hand- brain coordination;
2. mastering motor and listening skills;
3. awakening a sense of experimentation;
4. getting familiar with world art history, cultures and practices.
The students will have an opportunity to complete projects using various media, such as watercolor, charcoal, graphite, colored pencils, modeling clay. Art from different cultures and civilizations will be introduced to foster imagination and develop awareness of self and others. Some materials are provided by students. Please refer to the art material list below. Specialty paints, non-canvas substrates, papers, drawing and painting equipment is provided through the studio.
The non -refundable school registration is $100. The monthly tuition is $170, and paid per a 5- month semester in two installments. First payment of $950 is due on September 1, 2024 and second payment of $850 is due on February 1, 2025. The payments can be done by a check, Zelle or Venmo, using VizArt School # 850 980 7294.
