The program is a portfolio builder and devised for people strongly interested in fine arts. Students should have practical experience and evidence of previous work. The emphasis is made on developing solid visual skills in students by familiarizing them with contemporary approach to classical painting and drawing.
The students will learn from lectures on Masters` techniques, artists’ demonstrations and the artistic practice itself.
The ultimate goal of this course is to help students become astute observers of the world and combine their foundational skills with sensitivity and expression. The course is perfect for those seeking to develop a strong art portfolio and exhibition record.
Some art materials are supplied by students. Please refer to the art material list below. VizArt School supplies with specialty paints, non-canvas substrates and papers, drawing and painting equipment.
The classes are 2 hour each, meeting weekly with a possibility of up to 2 free make-up classes per semester. The non-refundable school registration is $100. The monthly tuition is $275. The tuition is paid per a 5-month semester in two installments. First payment of $1,475 is due on September 1, 2024; and second payment of $1,375 is due on February 1, 2025.
