If you are looking for a creative meditation, this is the ONE. This textile arts class embraces felting and weaving projects that are suitable for the beginner to advanced level. The class familiarizes students with multiple approaches to textile and fiber manipulation where everyone creates their own unique project. Felting projects might vacillate between decorative or functional 2-d and 3-d form. Weaving projects may become flat decorative mini-tapestries or functional objects, like table runners or such. Weaving projects might also involve small homework assignments. Materials for the sessions are usually provided by the instructor. No previous art background is required here, just the interest in fine and applied arts.

The sessions are held in an informal setting with tea, snacks and relaxing music and are perfect for those who would like to unwind from the everyday reality.

The class is open to teens and adults. Students can register per session or the whole academic year. The cost of a single drop-in session is $ 90. The cost of the whole year registration is $ 720.
